Daniel Ife and Thomas Glegg

Meet Daniel Ife, our Head Chef at Goldsborough Hall and Thomas Glegg, our Senior Sous Chef.

With previous experience in award-winning restaurants, Daniel joined our team over six years ago and has played a crucial role in achieving our 3AA rosette status and entry into the Michelin guide. He oversees our team of chefs serving the prestigious Dining Room at Goldsborough Hall, private weddings, corporate events and functions.

Daniel's culinary style is seasonally driven with a modern twist and a classic French undertone. His commitment to quality and locally sourced produce reflects our shared values at Goldsborough Hall.

Thomas, our Senior Sous Chef brings his own impressive background to our kitchen. He has worked at True Foods and Rudding Park, further enriching our culinary team with his expertise. Thomas's passion for innovative techniques and his dedication to creating exceptional dishes make him an invaluable member of our team.

With the combined talent and creativity of Daniel and Thomas, we are excited to utilise seasonal produce from our kitchen garden, working closely with our Head Gardener. This allows us to offer a truly farm-to-table experience, showcasing the freshest ingredients in our dishes and delivering an exceptional dining experience that exceeds expectations.
