Notes to editors

  • Goldsborough Hall is a 16th Century Grade II* listed stately home with a royal connection

  • For a number of years the Hall was home to HRH Princess Mary – only daughter of King George V – which makes it a unique venue for lunch & dinner, luxury accommodation, weddings, corporate events or afternoon tea.

  • The Princess Royal, dubbed the Yorkshire Princess, was the late Queen's aunt. Mary married her husband Viscount Henry Lascelles, later sixth Earl of Harewood, on 28 February 1922 at Westminster Abbey

  • Today it is Mark and Clare Oglesby’s family home.
